Boston Design Week seeks to increase public awareness and appreciation of all aspects of design, foster recognition of the vital role design plays in our lives, and bring new audiences to a wide array of design industries and organizations. The vision is to encourage the public to explore all aspects of design. This 12-day design festival offers renowned guest speakers, panel discussions, exhibitions, and more hosted by design-oriented businesses, universities, museums, non-profit organizations, and professional societies. Most events are free of charge with registration, and all events must be open to the public.
Design Month Graz condenses the energy of the local creative industries within one month, makes them visible to the outside world and thus makes a central contribution to anchoring the creative industries in people’s minds since 2009. Creative Industries Styria coordinates and organizes the event. Numerous local partners are also involved in Design Month Graz. Design Month functions as an umbrella brand and gathers the individual activities under a unified appearance without jeopardizing their independence.
Design Week Mexico is an organization that promotes and contributes to the local design scene. Every year through its programming, it encourages analysis and reflection on local challenges with global relevance from the design perspective. The event is held by México Territorio Creativo (MXTC), a Mexican non-governmental and non-profit organization that brings together and promotes creative production through a local and international network. HAUS is a Brazilian platform dedicated to cover design, architecture and decoration. Launched in 2015, the brand is a publication of the newspaper Gazeta do Povo and is present in the main and most important national and international coverages of the sector, such as the Milan Design Week, Cersaie, Expo Revestir and DW! Design Weekend. Our purpose is to publicize and educate the Brazilian public about the best and most innovative products created by the sector in Brazil and in the rest of the world.
Hong Kong Design Centre is a non-governmental organisation, and was founded in 2001 as a strategic partner of the HKSAR Government in establishing Hong Kong as an international centre of design excellence in Asia. Their public mission is to promote wider and strategic use of design and design thinking to create business value and improve societal well-being.
